Isabella Long

My name is Isabella Long and I am representing and being sponsored by the Rotary Club of Taft. I am 17 years old and going to be a senior this fall at Taft Union High School.

During my previous years at Taft High, I have held class offices, such as Secretary and President, as well as being ASB Representative this past school year. I have also been in many clubs, including Interact, where I have learned and implemented “Service Above Self”. I also did competitive all-star cheer for 10 years and got the opportunity to compete in Florida on a paid invitation.

Additionally, I was honored to receive the Young Woman of Achievement Award by Soroptimist during my 8th grade year. I am currently on the varsity football cheer team, varsity track team, and my church worship team, all while maintaining a 4.2 GPA. This year, I am holding many positions at Taft High, including ASB President, Senior Class President, and Rallies Commissioner.

As far as after high school, I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was a little girl, and I am planning to study for it, however I do not know at this moment where I will be going to college. I am continuing to see where God takes me as I go into my last year of high school and graduation. I am so honored to be a proud Oildorado Maid of Petroleum.
