October 10-19, 2025

During the 10-day celebration, Oildorado hosts a variety of events. In addition to the main events that Oildorado hosts, many local clubs, businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals host their own events as well. Oildorado tries to make sure each event is represented on our official calendar. In order to be added to the calendar, an event organizer needs to register their event. Tickets for many of these events (if they require one) will also be on the registration page.

If your organization planning on hosting an event during our celebration and would like to be listed on our calendar of events and other promotional materials, please complete and submit an official Calendar Event Submission form.

It’s officially GROWING SEASON and registration is underway for Whiskerino.

Registration may be completed at a participating salon/shop:

• Vanity Salon, 103 Adkisson Way, Taft

• Bangs & Tangles Salon, 404 Center Street, Taft

Former Queen Luncheon

A long standing tradition includes the Former Queen Luncheon where former queens and maids mix and mingle and reminiscent about prior celebrations.

Melodrama is traditionally a large-scale production featuring many local performers and held at Taft Union High School auditorium.

Grand Parade

One of the longest traditions of Taft Oildorado is the Grand Parade, which will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

Parade entry forms will be available in February 2025.
