My name is Emma Neudorf and I am so proud and grateful to be sponsored by the Alpha House. The Alpha House provides a safe haven for abused women and children and has made a positive impact on many lives.
I’m 18 and recently graduated from Taft High School with a 4.2 GPA. In high school, I was an Honors student and participated in ASB (a leadership class) and Human Element (a human kindness class that allowed me to reach out to students all over campus). I was also a cheerleader for all four years and Varsity cheer captain for three years. While juggling this busy schedule, I had the opportunity to enroll in college classes and managed to complete an entire year of college before graduating high school.
I am a proud member of the Holmes Family Scholarship Program and so thankful to represent such an amazing foundation. This fall, I will be attending Taft College and majoring in Elementary Education. After I graduate this spring, I plan on transferring to a university and quickly becoming an elementary school teacher.
In my spare time, I work with children as an assistant dance teacher at the West Side Recreation & Park District. I love being involved with our community and I’m honored for the opportunity to represent our little town! I’m so excited to participate in Oildorado as a Maid of Petroleum this year!
